Questions people ask
What cover does my business legally need?
Workers compensation is compulsory once you employ people, and requirements vary by state. Public liability is not legally required in most cases but is frequently demanded by clients, landlords and licensing bodies.
Is a package cheaper than separate policies?
Often, but not always. Packages bundle common covers at a discount, though a specialist policy can be better value if one risk dominates your business. We compare both.
Does it cover business interruption?
Some property policies include it, others offer it as an add-on. It covers lost income while you cannot trade, which is frequently the larger loss after a fire or flood.
